In this section, we will take a look at Adobe Launch Account Hierarchy
Adobe Launch Account Hierarchy
One Adobe ID can manage multiple organization IDs, and one organization ID can manage multiple properties.
An organization ID represents a company, and a property represents a website or app. There is no limit to the number of properties.
Compare with Google Tag Manager
The structure of Google Tag Manager is the same as that of Adobe Launch: one Google ID can create more than 100 Accounts, and one Account can create multiple Containers.
Here Account represents a company and Container represents a website or app.
Compared with Adobe Launch, Organization Id is Account and Property is Container.
Property / Container contains a set of tags:
Adobe Launch contains data elements, rules and extensions;
Google Tag Manager includes Variables, Triggers and Tags.
The data elements and variables are exactly the same, mainly referenced by others, and others are somewhat different.
Extensions and tags are corresponding, but they are different. Extensions are only configured by third parties, and tags can also control the sending of data.
Rules and Triggers are intended to correspond, but in addition to controlling trigger conditions, Rules can also control the sending of data, and Trigger can only control trigger conditions.
As you can see, these two are exchanging some functions.
