“None” channel appears in Marketing Channel：
Reason
The “None” channel would generally be the ones which do not fall into any of the conditions specified in the rules.
- Marketing Channel Processing Rules does not include all scenarios, such as cid=test123, if it is not included in any current Processing Rules, AA will not know how to deal with it and will classify it as “None“
Usually, when processing rules, multiple dimensions are used, and there may be omissions.
The suggestion is to use one dimension as much as possible, such as Tracking Code to set Processing Rules.
Solution
Usually None belongs to the Direct channel, and a rule can be created to divide all pages into the Direct channel:
